Hotels have a reception and generally have their own restaurant facilities. You can have the option of staying in a double, twin or triple room. Iceland also have guesthouses, which tend to be family run and also much smaller, friendly and personal. These are often in less populated areas therefore offering you a closer look at the Icelandic way of life and making you nearer to nature.
We have a range of standards of Hotels and often grade them according to colours. The band is like this:
- Yellow = 1 star
- Green = 2 star
- Blue = 3 star
- Orange = 3/4 star
- Red = 4 star
- Platinum = 5 star
