Small and friendly hotel, perfectly located in the centre of the town, only a few minutes walk from the beautiful harbour of Stykkisholmur. The hotel has 11 rooms, 9 doubles and 2 singles, all with private facilities. The hotel has two balconies one of these has been changed into a sitting/relaxation room and offers a splendid view over the harbour and Breidafjordur.

The Hotel Budir's location is utterly magical, sitting on a remote peninsula a two hour drive from Reykjavik, it has one the sea behind it, a lava field in front, and only a tiny nineteenth century church for a neighbour. Views are of the mountains, an extinct volcano and the snaefell Glacier, a storied site of spiritual energy. The original Budir built in 1948, burned down a few years ago, but its brand new 28 room replacement already has an air of lived in luxury. The furnishings are rustic and comfortable, with scores of antique prints hanging on walls painted chocolate and cream.

Hotel Framnes is situated on the seaside. It was originally built as a fisherman's hostel in 1954, before becoming Hotel Framnes at the end of June 1998. The decor of the Hotel is in keeping with the architectural style of the building and there is great emphasis in creating a warm, old fashioned atmosphere. The hotel offers 16 comfortable double and twin bedrooms and 4 studio apartments. All rooms have private facilities, television and a hairdryer.

Hellissandur is located at the Western most part of the Snaefellsnes peninsula, at the north of the new Snaefellsjokul National Park. The hotel commands splendid views of the Snaefellsjokul glacier and the surrounding lava landscape. Hellissandur is one of Iceland's oldest urban communities; there has been a village here since the 13th Century. All 20 rooms have private facilities.

Hotel Hellnar offers accommodation with spectacular ocean views, at the heart of Snaefellsjokul Glacier, Hotel Hellnar is a unique country hotel which has been certified by the International Certification Program Green Globe 21 as a sustainable accommodation since 2002. The hotel was awarded the Icelandic Tourist Board's Environment Award in 2000 and again in 2004.

Snjofell Guesthouse is next door to a beautiful grass roofed chalet restaurant and underneath the Snaefellsjokull Icecap.
